Years after leaving his hometown, Sean Radley moves back to Hallow's Creek with his wife, Laura Radley, who recently got a job in town, and their children, Zach and Iris, to be closer to his parents whose health is failing. What's supposed to be a happy welcome home turns sour rather quickly when Sean realizes what date it is.
It's the 20-year anniversary of Isabelle Myers' suicide, a young girl who committed suicide in 2004, leaving only a love letter to her girlfriend at the time. A candlelit vigil will be held at the town hall and Sean's parents pressure him to attend, since he was Isabelle's boyfriend before she died.
Family Man
Euryalex
Family Man is a story about a vengeful spirit that's been haunting me, specifically. At least, the spirit of this story is the one haunting me. Already, I had a minor obsession with vengeful spirits, i.e.: Sadako Yamamura.
Isabelle Myers.
- kind
- mindful
- compassionate
Isabelle Myers will always be remembered as a kind soul, who took her own life when she feared people wouldn't accept her sexuality. Her parents now run a charity for LGBT+ youth.
Sean Radley.
- committed
- faithful
- unreliable
Sean left behind his hometown a long time ago, but is forced to return when his father's health is failing. He hoped to leave the small town behind him, but how can he when it seems to follow him wherever he goes?
Laura Radley.
- loyal
- empathetic
- patient
Laura is a loyal woman, so it comes as no surprise when she follows her husband to his hometown when his father falls ill. But the town holds many secrets, more than her husband would like to admit.
